Genevo Marine is developing Australia’s first high performance, pure electric production boat. Designed by award winning naval architect Misha Merzliakov and founded by renewable energy pioneers, Damon Rahmate & Andrew Davey, Genevo’s first model, the E8, will hit Australian waters in 2024.
The E8 is the result of over 3 years of meticulous design and development, including materials testing with Deakin & UNSW Universities. The composite hulls will be constructed using advanced resin infusion technologies, utilising recycled aerospace carbon fibre. These materials not only provide an extremely strong and lightweight hull, but also reduce embedded C02 inputs by approximately 90%. A first of its kind globally, Genevo has garnered international interest for E8 launch editions.
Genevo’s proprietary electric drive train is also scalable and suitable for other vessels and markets. The performance motor and battery assembly will enable high speed thrills and comfortable ranges of between 30 to 100 nautical miles depending on speed/conditions.
The global electric boat market is currently growing at a staggering 12.9% and on track to be valued at over US 16B billion dollars by 2031. Genevo will be launching a limited crowdfunding campaign through Onmarket and now is your opportunity to join this revolution and invest in Australia’s first production electric boat company.
